Created by the 6S Art Team, the #one collection concentrates on current hair trends that they are regularly asked for in their salon.  They have also taken inspiration from the latest fashion trends and the amazing hair color range from shoot sponsors Wella Professionals.

Sixth Sense decided to use "real people" rather than professional models for the photo shoot to reinforce the point that these styles can look great on anyone and everyone.

Oh the joys of blogging......

 

 

As I sit here sipping my morning coffee, reminiscing over the past year - I can remember like it was yesterday....June 2, 2014.  The day I posted my very first blog post and HumbleBeauty was officially born!  Boy does time fly, and this past year has been an AMAZING rollercoaster ride for me as a blogger.  Meeting new people from all over the world, trying out new products and brands, OOTDs, traveling, events, and guest posts.  And the list goes on and on.....

 

 

Connecting with you all has been HumbleBeauty's biggest accomplishment.  I have always been a very quiet and introverted person, but blogging has really helped me to break out of my shell somewhat and become more of a "people" person.  I LOVE meeting new people and interacting with you all, whether its via Twitter, Instagram, or commenting on the blog, I truly appreciate all of your kind comments and support.

Michael Kors WHITE

 

 

 

Hello Again!!

 

First of all, let me say that is feels so good to be able to blog again on a regular!  The computer was fixed my friends!!!  Thank GOD!

 

I received this Michael Kors WHITE from my mother in law as a birthday gift earlier this month and I have been eager to share this with you all!  I must say that I absolutely LOVE this fragrance you guys!  I have been using it almost every day this month and it is my new favorite.  Have you guys tried this fragrance?

 



 

 

 

 

I was so happy to receive this Michael Kors WHITE as a gift because I have been smelling it in all of my magazines and whenever I smell a fragrance I love in a magazine, this is what I do! 

LOL

Am I the only one that does this?  Come on...Be honest with me!  LOL  Needless to say, I really LOVE this fragrance by Michael Kors and I will definitely be purchasing more of this once I run out.  And that will be very soon.  Coco Chanel Mademoiselle is still my number 1 favorite fragrance of all time, and this Michael Kors WHITE is now my 2nd favorite!  Let me know if you guys have tried this scent and let me know what you think!

Weekend Brunching + MIA For A While......

Hello Beautiful People!!

 

 

I hope all is well with each and every one of you!  I have been on a blogging rollercoaster this past week with the unexpected CRASHING of my computer....I wasn't able to blog last week, and I have been completely bummed about that because I have so many things lined up for the blog including a "Beautiful Success" post, a giveaway, and more events and special announcements coming down the line.  Now is NOT the time for a computer crash! 

 

But nevertheless, life goes on and so does the world of blogging.  I had a fabulous weekend brunching with the ladies and extending the celebration of my birthday! (Which was May 2nd by the way...lol) My friends joined me at 5 Church Restaurant for a "Beauty Brunch" as we called it, and I had a blast!  The ladies gifted me beauty related gifts that all had a story/significance behind them and I was so surpised.  I really wasn't expecting anything but a great time and good laughs.  The gifts were so special and I LOVE each and every beauty gift I received.

There's just too much to blog about, right....But until my computer is back up and running 100%, I will be MIA for a while. 35! But Who's Counting?

So today I have been blessed with 35 years of life here on earth!  And I am thanking God for every moment....I feel blessed to be alive, blessed to have health and strength, blessed to have my husband and son, and blessed to even have the opportunity to share with you how blessed I really feel right now.  Truly thankful and truly blessed to be alive to celebrate yet another year....

A lot of women are hush hush when it comes to sharing their age, especially after the years seem to come and go, come and go, and then more years just come and go, and so forth.  The society we live in puts so much pressure on women to look a certain way and fit into certain standards, that it can actually be psychologically challenging to age as a women and still feel beautiful.  In our world, youth is beauty, being thin is beauty, being young and fresh is what attracts attention and what makes money. 

True, a lot of beauty and fashion bloggers are in their twenties.  That's cool.  Society says you are too old to do certain things once you reach a certain age - too old to go back to school, too old to start your own business, too old to work in that field.  That's cool.  Some may say "Your time is up."  That's cool.  As you can see, a lot of things are "cool" in my eyes.  It's cool they are "counting" so let them keep count.  I am HAPPY to say I am 35 years old!  HAPPY to celebrate another year, and so HAPPY to blog about it.
