HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
God knows how truly thankful I am not only this holiday season, but each and every day I am blessed to live.....Thanksgiving is a time to gather with family and friends, and to remember how blessed and thankful we all are. I know that I have come a mighty long way in life, from growing up with little to nothing, to being a struggling single parent. Now as I look back on those times, I realize just how GREAT God is and how much gratitude I truly feel in my heart. Each and every day I count my blessings and I never let a day go by without saying THANK YOU at least 40-50 times out loud.....I also take the time each morning to make a list of things I am thankful for and I read over that list throughout the day. It helps me to get through the day and it actually helps me to have a great day!
So many times we tend to take for granted just the little things....I've been guilty of doing the same thing. As I think back to when me and my son fell on hard times and money wasn't just tight, it was non-existent, I was almost evicted out of my apartment, my son was kicked out of daycare because I couldn't afford the payments, didn't have a car and didn't know where our next meal was coming from. Humble beginnings....
When I decided to step out on faith, work extra harder, and believe in God for a breakthrough, things immediately began to turn around for me. I received a promotion at work, not only just one promotion, but promotion after promotion ~ raises on top of raises. I got married to a loving and supportive man. I was able to purchase a brand new car, never been used, but brand new off the lot and now its paid for in full! Thankful, gratitude, humility.....words cannot express how gracious I feel to have overcome such times. Luckily my son was young during those days and he cannot remember, but I remember...I will always remember....And I will always be grateful for what I have accomplished and for that which I will accomplish in the future. Most importantly, I will always be thankful for those humble beginnings which made me who I am today...Humble beginnings which shaped and molded me into to the ambitious, never taking no for an answer woman I call me...
THANK YOU to those humble beginnings....THANK YOU
Until next time....Stay Beautiful & have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

I love your testimony. And those pictures are so beautiful. You still have that baby face. God looks at our hearts and can build us up if we let him do it without interfering and let him mold us into the beautiful person he wants us to be. A humble heart is where it starts. Your testimony will help another young lady,
ReplyDeleteknow that she can make it too. God bless you and your family.
