Here we are in the year 2015, and owning your own business and being successful online has proven to be the thing of the norm.  With YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter to name a few, Bloggers are finding ways to maximize their worth and become successful entrepreneurs from the privacy of their own homes and with the click of a finger. 

 

Michelle Crum is a prime example of online success!  I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle at a recent event and it was obvious from the start that we both had common interests and both shared a love for beauty, fashion, blogging, and SUCCESS!  Michelle Crum is a military wife and beauty blogger by the name of BeYoutifulbyM.  She regularly films hair and beauty tutorials for YouTube, and is an Internet and Beauty Entrepreneur.  She is also a brand ambassador for Carol's Daughter, one of the leading beauty and hair care brands in the industry.  As an added bonus, BeYoutifulbyM relaunched this month with a whole new look and feel!

 

As always, you know I had to ask Michelle a few questions about her journey as a fellow blogger, and the relaunching of BeYoutifulbyM.....

HumbleBeauty:  Tell us a little about yourself and what you do for a living.

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  I am originally form North Jersey, super close to NYC. I am currently living in Columbia, SC were my husband is serving the US Military.  I am an Internet and beauty entrepreneur, which means I truly get to do what I love! I am constantly getting to know new faces and am surrounded by people.

 

 

 

HumbleBeauty:  What made you want to start your very own blog and You Tube Channel?

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  Truly I was going through such a cross roads in life and in my career I honestly did not know where to turn.  Seeing YouTube videos and the way people freely expressed themselves was so liberating to see. I thought it was genius to combine my love for beauty with being able to come in contact with people from all over the world.

 

 

 

HumbleBeauty:  What do you love most about Blogging/Vlogging?

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  I love the interaction with all types of people. It’s a different encounter each day.

 

 

 

HumbleBeauty:  What drives/motivates you?

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  My parents and husband are true inspirations of individuals that just do not give up, but I have to say the Big Man Upstairs gives me all the drive in the world because He’s the one that wakes me up everyday.  I have to live on purpose.

 

 



 

HumbleBeauty:  What does success mean to you?

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  Success to me is honestly daily accomplishments. I don’t believe you have to be a millionaire to be “successful” (although that’s pretty awesome), its the daily activities you put on your “to do list” and can cross them off at the end of the day and say to yourself; “Today was a great success.”

 

 

 

HumbleBeauty:  Tell us all about the re-launch of BeYoutifulByM!

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  Re-launching BeYoutifulbyM is like a rebirthing, in a sense. It’s still the same old me but revamped. My blog truly needed a make over and I really wanted to have a one stop shop were my supporters can come and see all of me and what’s going on. It’s a place to really stay connected.

 

 

 

HumbleBeauty:  What advice would you give to other women on the path to pursuing their dreams?

 

BeYoutifulbyM:  Stay consistent and don’t let anyone doubt your vision. Believe in yourself every single day, trust the process, and never ever give up!

HumbleBeauty was in the house at the BeYoutifulbyM relaunch party on May 9th at Gallery West in West Columbia, and what a celebration it was!!  Friends and supporters from all over came out to celebrate the relaunch of BeYoutifulbyM with an "All Pink Party" that included networking, painting, all pink refreshments, live entertainment, and of course a little beauty with Motives Cosmetics!
